This blog purpose is to share my success and failures in gardening in a tropic. I have no particular liking to any plant/ flower but once it caught my attention there is no other way for me but to have it. Since I’ve all the local plant that i fancy, now i cast my eyes far away, temperate flower/plant. Hence the existence of My Experimental Garden Blog. Hope you enjoy my blog.

Turkish Fig
grown from cutting |
And these are the self pollinating fig that is grown from
cutting. Only 50% of cutting rooting and growing shoot, the rest of the
cutting become mouldy during shipping and rot after a few days. But considering
the cost of buying fig seedling, this method is still cheaper. The big
seedling is Adriatic and the other one is conadria. A few more cutting is
growing shoot (white patlican, calimyrna, abacou, adriatik and conadria)
Cinnamon basil
I love varieties of herb. This is among the basil that i grown. For Asian who is so used to cook with spice, this cinnamon basil smell is very annoying, it just has a hint of cinnamon, but the combination of cinnamon and basil is very strange. It taste is slightly better than lemon basil. It is 4th in my list.
