This blog purpose is to share my success and failures in gardening in a tropic. I have no particular liking to any plant/ flower but once it caught my attention there is no other way for me but to have it. Since I’ve all the local plant that i fancy, now i cast my eyes far away, temperate flower/plant. Hence the existence of My Experimental Garden Blog. Hope you enjoy my blog.

ReplyDeleteBiasanya tak payah support, sangkar tu tak nak Bagi kucing berehat dlm pasu, pernah sekali tu byk gladiolus yg tumbuh patah sbb kucing.
Deleteoooo nanti sy tepek gambar gladio sy yg lentok tu..memang tak tinggi mcm ni..tak tahu apa masalah
DeleteBiasanya kalau ia lentok sbb dijangkiti kulat atau virus. Letak gambar tu dlm blog nadia, nanti saya tengok apa masalahnya.
Deletebyknya! kalaulah lynn pun ada..(berangan lagi!)
ReplyDeleteMmg byk, tu berapa tahun punya collection, . Drp satu corms boleh dapat byk cormels, tanam cormels ni, lepas 2 tahun ia jadi corms yg matang, makin lama makin byk.
DeleteStaggered planting...that's a good idea. I was thinking of doing that with some of the salad greens I planted so I could harvest them for a longer period.
ReplyDeleteYes, staggered planting is a way to go if you want to have it for a long time,
DeleteI'll do the same thing this spring :) I also have lots of cormels. I'm always willing to exchange some gladiolus cormels if you're interested :)
ReplyDeleteyes, i'm interested but we'll have to wait until next year because i do not label the cormels, all mixed together. This time i'll label it then we can exchange what we do not have.
ReplyDeleteIt works for me :) It'll be fun to exchange gladioli between Malaysia and Poland :) I wonder if the varieties vary much.
DeleteMy gladioli will be flowering in July/August, so I'll post the photos of varieties I have.
Last year my gladioli had really a lot of cormels, I was shocked to see this many!
I bought my gladiolus corms from Holland. My goof friend post it from there. Indonesia produce their own variety of corms which will be different from Europe, I'm still trying to get corms from Indonesia.
