Surprisingly it starts to produce male flower
(tassel) after a month.

Interesting fact about corn is that a tassel will
appear first followed by a female flower. The height this corn is supposed to
be 5 to 6 feet. But this one is only 2.5 feet and still growing.
Hopefully the female will make an appearance soon too.
