Pickle maman ( Cleome Gynandra)

This month I’ll be blogging about food, namely fruit and vegetable that i grow.  This is Cleome Gynandra.  In my hometown the young stem is pickled. It makes a tasty meal.

It is a kind of “sow and neglect it” plant. It will germinate after the rain or if you water it after a few days and it can be harvest in 1 to 2 weeks
