I sow this broccoli in late November. According to seed packet, it can be harvested at about 57 days. However it’s been 80 days now but there is no broccoli flower in sight. I didn’t give it any fertilizer other than growing it in sheep manure.

What did i do wrong? Any comment from reader of this blog is greatly appreciated.

  1. It happens to me with each and every flower and vegetable. So, I have to come to the conclusion that those information are not to be strictly followed but vaguely followed; so, if I want a tomato that I want to fruit in a month, then I am going to look for all the seeds that say 30 days along with other seeds that say 40, 45 days because I know none of them will keep their promises of fruiting in 30, 40 or 45 days. But, that's just my experience so far.
