Roselle is very easy to grow. I plant it once a few years ago, after that i
just have to wait for volunteer seedling. The fruit is edible and abundant. I tried
it once but i do not like it, too sour. I keep growing this for 2 reasons: I love the colour and shape of the fruit and as a gift to my neighbours,
friends and co workers who really appreciate it.

It has very interesting flowers, I've never seen it before.
ReplyDeletethe flower look like okra flower, but it is reddish instead of off white, The Calyx is edible, boil it to make a red coloured drink, can make jam from the fruit. It is sour like red currant.
